Ants don’t make any sound, show up whenever/wherever they please, and will happily infest an area in your home or on your patio. Oils like peppermint and tree tea are ones that ants consider poison. So take a cotton swab and simply dab your baseboards with a little bit of this oil and watch them run away.
I must say that I SWEAR by vinegar. It’s such a versatile product to have at home, and for your anti-ant regime, mix one part water with one part vinegar, mix this solution into a spray bottle and spray the area where you notice the ants. They’ll be gone in a couple of days.
