I saw Ann make this on Worst Cooks and I just had to make it. OMG amazing! Why have I not heard of these before? So custardy and creamy and oh so yummy. My husband said best breakfast he has ever had. And I’ve cooked some really great ones. You gotta give this a go.
A Dutch Baby, also known as a German pancake, is a mixture of eggs, flour and whole milk that gets baked in a heavy skillet until it becomes puffy and golden. In the terrific version here, Grace Parisi folds in fresh berries to create a wonderful summer dessert that’s also great for breakfast.
Healthy enough for breakfast, sweet enough for dessert, this individual Dutch baby pancake with berries & maple yogurt is easy & delicious.
I’ve seen Dutch baby pancakes around and keep meaning to give them a try, but so often the recipes are meant for a few people.
So I adapted to make this individual Dutch baby pancake which is perfect when you’re the only one feeling the pancake vibe. Or if there are more of you, multiply up to make a few and everyone has their own pan to eat from. Either way, it’s a winner.
