Instructions:

  1. Saute the onion in a skillet with heated oil until just turning soft
  2. Add garlic and the chili powder and stir well
  3. Add in the ground beef and cook until it is no longer pink
  4. Add in the pepper, brown sugar, water, ketchup and tomato sauce
  5. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes
  6. Taste and add more flavor or hot pepper sauce if wanted
  7. Using an ice cream scoop, place a scoop on each of the bun bottoms
  8. Top with a little shredded cheese if wanted
