Instructions:
- Saute the onion in a skillet with heated oil until just turning soft
- Add garlic and the chili powder and stir well
- Add in the ground beef and cook until it is no longer pink
- Add in the pepper, brown sugar, water, ketchup and tomato sauce
- Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes
- Taste and add more flavor or hot pepper sauce if wanted
- Using an ice cream scoop, place a scoop on each of the bun bottoms
- Top with a little shredded cheese if wanted
