I have the solution for you with this recipe for frozen yoghurt bars: put a creamy mixture of fruit yoghurt and whipped cream in the freezer and cover them with fruit muesli. You get tasty and refreshing ice cream bars for children’s snacks! I used Grillon d’Or fruit muesli to make this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 package (16 oz) store-bought puff pastry, 2 sheets, thawed
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2/3 cup caster sugar or superfine sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cubed
- 6 beaten egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- powdered sugar, as needed
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° and line two baking sheets with parchment paper, then line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on both sides.
- Unroll the sheets of puff pastry and place them on baking sheets covered with baking paper, using a fork, gently prick all over the pastry, without piercing the bottom.
