I get rave surveys each time I make these. I generally utilize dull chocolate cocoa powder. Improves them IMO.
Everyone will ask you for the formula for these German chocolate bars!
Ingredients:
- 3 c pecan halves
- 1 and 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 3/4 cup cold butter, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 & 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup tightly packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 c melted unsalted butter
- 1 c sweetened coconut
