Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped green pepper
- 8 ounces diced tomatoes, no juice
- ½ cup quick oats
- Topping:
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375*
- In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, tomatoes, salt, pepper, onion, green pepper and quick oats
- Combine and mix very well
- Shape into a loaf and place into a loaf pan to bake
- Mix together the ketchup, mustard and brown sugar
- Spread this mixture over the top of the meat mix
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes
