Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to temp directed on the pie crust
- Bake the pie as directed
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minimum of at least 30 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cornstarch and water
- Whisk together and bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer
- Continue to simmer until the sauce thickens, this could take 5 minutes roughly
- Whisk in the Strawberry jelly completely and set to the side to cool
- When the pie crust is cool, add the sliced strawberries to the crust.
- Pour the glaze over the strawberries
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until the pie is set
- Garnish with dollops of whipped topping and a strawberry slice on each dollop
