Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground pork breakfast sausage
- 1 cup Italian 5 cheese blend, shredded
- 4 large Eggs
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 Tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 10 ounces of tasting biscuits
Instructions:
- Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
- Apply cooking spray to an 11×8-inch baking dish.
- Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
- Add the sausage and cook until crumbly and brown.
- Drain any excess oil.
- Transfer the cooked sausage and cheese to the greased baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, add the cream, eggs, garlic salt, thyme, and pepper.
- Whisk until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture on top of the sausage and cheese.
- Spread the biscuits on top of everything.
- Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven and cover the baking dish with foil.
- Put it back inside the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.
