Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350
- Heat oil in the skillet and saute green pepper and onion
- Place the peppers and onion into a bowl, add the milk and the ground beef, bread crumbs and seasonings
- Mix together with your hands until well incorporated
- Grease bottom and sides of a loaf pan
- Add one half of the meat mix and top with 4 slices of cheese
- Put the remaining meat mix on top of the cheese
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Remove from oven and add remaining cheese on top
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese melts and bubbles.
- Set to side and let rest before slicing
